Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to create an account to use Kwomi?

No. Kwomi does not require an account to get started — just open the app and begin. If you enable iCloud backup, your artwork is associated with your Apple account.

How do I scan a flat drawing or painting?

Open Kwomi, tap the Capture tab, then select "Scan with Camera." Kwomi can help detect artwork edges and improve perspective and image clarity during capture. Hold your phone above the artwork in good lighting for the best result.

How does the 360° spin capture work?

From the Capture tab, select "Capture 360° Spin." Kwomi helps you photograph an object from multiple angles so you can create a scrollable 360° view. Move slowly around the object and tap the shutter as you go. When finished, you can swipe through the photos like spinning the object in your hands.

Can I import photos I already took?

Yes! Tap "Import from Photos" on the Capture tab and select multiple photos at once from your library. When available, Kwomi uses each photo's metadata to help assign the correct date automatically.

How do I set up profiles for multiple children?

Go to the Organize tab and tap the + button next to "Children." Enter each child's name, pick a color and emoji avatar. When capturing or importing artwork, select which child it belongs to from the dropdown at the top of the screen.

Is my data backed up?

Kwomi Pro requires iCloud to be enabled. Your artwork is stored in your private iCloud account, keeping it backed up and available across your devices. The free version works on-device only. Sync timing may vary depending on your iCloud and network settings.

Why don't I see my artwork on another device?

Make sure you're signed into the same Apple account on both devices and that iCloud is enabled for Kwomi in your iPhone Settings. Sync may take a little time depending on your connection and iCloud status.

How do I share artwork with family?

Sharing and PDF portfolio export are available with Kwomi Pro. Once unlocked, open any artwork and tap "Share" to send via Messages, WhatsApp, email, or any other app on your phone.

What's the difference between free and Kwomi Pro?

The free version lets you save up to 10 artworks with all capture modes. Kwomi Pro unlocks no limit on the number of artworks you can save, plus PDF portfolio export, AI image enhancement, and sharing features — available as a monthly or annual subscription.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kwomi, then tap Cancel. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

I accidentally deleted an artwork. Can I recover it?

Recovery may be possible depending on whether the artwork was still stored locally or synced to iCloud. If you accidentally deleted something, contact us as soon as possible at support@kwomi.com and we'll help you check available recovery options.
